Graeme Mew is a lawyer and a dispute resolution professional
offering advocacy, mediation, arbitration and third party neutral
services to parties involved in or seeking to avoid civil disputes. He
brings to the dispute resolution process 21 years as a litigation
lawyer practising in England and Ontario (Canada) backed by extensive
training in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and experience as a
neutral.
Graeme Mew is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an
accredited mediator by the Centre for Dispute Resolution (CEDR). He
holds memberships of a number of other organisations of dispute
resolution professionals, including the American Arbitration
Association. He is a member of a number of prominent panels of

International, the Centre for Sport and Law, the ADR Institute of

Graeme Mew knows that effective dispute resolution often depends on the
ability of the lawyer or the neutral to fully understand and articulate
the issues. The ability to listen, to see the bigger picture and to be
creative and practical in helping to bring about resolution of the
dispute is all-important.
Graeme Mew has litigated, arbitrated or mediated a wide
variety of civil disputes involving insurance law (including excess and
reinsurance issues), contract and tort law (including personal injury,
product liability, trade, business disputes and transportation),
professional liability (including liability of hospitals, lawyers,
physicians and accountants and related insurance issues), sports law
and liability of directors and officers.
Graeme Mew is a member of the Chambers of Roger Stewart QC at Four
New Square in London, England. He is also a partner at the Canadian law
firm of Nicholl Paskell-Mede, with offices in Toronto and
